We are delighted to be assisting our superb client as they seek to recruit an additional Forecaster / Analyst to join their team based close to the Lewes area.

This is a great opportunity to join a very established business who continue to grow and thrive within their marker sector. The role has become available due to departmental and business growth.

Permanent role

Mon-Fri (with early finish at 1430 on a Friday)

Hybrid working pattern requiring the successful candidate to work 3 days at home and 2 days in the office. Due to rural workplace location, your own transport is essential.

Office based rurally between Haywards Heath and Lewes area

Salary - GBP33000 per annum plus excellent company benefits

Previous experience of Forecasting is essential. Previous FMCG background desirable but not essential

The role / role purpose

Provide and maintain product forecasts in line with trends and promotional activity and market forces for all Brands within the company portfolio.

Support Management to maintain inventory levels so they are efficient and adequate in line with forecasts and targets.

Pro-actively provide effective and efficient Information for the company to help in the achievement of set goals and targets.

A keen eye for detail and an inquisitive mind is required to be able to discover, challenge and sustain the needs of the business

Statistical Sales Forecasting

Promotional Sales Forecasting

General Sales Forecasting

Inventory Management

Sales Reporting

Sales Budgeting

PROFILE OF THE CANDIDATE

A dynamic individual with initiative and a passion for detail. Accuracy makes you happy and you always double check important documents to ensure you maintain high levels of quality in your output. You relish the thought of discovering why a statistic/number has come to be, and can find a way delve down to minute details if necessary.

You collaborate easily with others and adapt to different personalities and working styles.

You are reliable and able to take personal accountability and responsibility for your work. You work with a sense of urgency and can change direction on workload when the needs of the day change.

You thrive on challenges and have a healthy attitude to pressure with the ability to meet deadlines by organising your own work effectively.

Your communication is effective and proactive, and you demonstrate respect of others at all times. You are trustworthy and able to deal with sensitive and confidential information keeping confidence when required.

An excellent knowledge of Forecasting Processes is essential for this role, (FMCG/Retail and Supply Chain is preferred but not essential), along with a strong competence in I.T., specifically Excel, Forecasting Software and ERP type systems.
