This is an amazing graduate level role starting out as a 1 year fixed term contract. There will likely be an opportunity to turn this Internship into a permanent role.

Overview of the role:

The Procurement intern will support the team on a number of key projects and initiatives.

Key Accountabilities:

There will be a number of initiatives that the Procurement Intern will lead or support.

This list is not exhaustive and is designed to give examples of the type of work that should be expected :

Reviewing the existing Critical Supplier List - Updating the relevant due diligence documentation - Liaising with the relevant vendors to ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date - Planning necessary sessions with vendors and stakeholders as required.

Updating Procurement Policies and Process documents -Supporting procurement team to ensure all documentation is up-to-date - Brainstorming with team to improve efficiency of processes and find ways of automating manual tasks - Liaising with key stakeholders to validate and subsequently communicate any procedural changes
Support procurement team in critical projects e.

g. - Integration of new Italian entities onto Euronext finance system - Deployment of new platform for Vendor Onboarding and eSourcing - Identifying areas of spend that procurement are not currently involved with but could make a significant impact on.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

An interest in Procurement/sourcing processes and activities
Excellent communications skills
Skills in core Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with Dynamics 365 (ERP System) would be beneficial but not essential
Understanding of basic financial principles and processes
Highly motivated, willing and able to learn, demonstrate initiative;

Well organized with strong problem solving and analytical skills;

Strong technical and communication skills;

Work well in teams with a strong attention to detail
