Job Title: Graduate Transport Planner
Salary: GBP18,000 - GBP24,000
Our client is on the hunt for a Graduate Transport Planner or a Transport Planner with up to 2 years experience to join their team in Edinburgh.
You will be assisting in providing transport inputs relating to clients' development proposals and will work towards solutions which are acceptable to all stakeholders.
You will support a varied portfolio of clients, and the ability to articulate and communicate planning ideas, concepts and proposals is essential.
Candidate Specification:
Degree level education in a relevant subject (Geography, Civil Engineering, Transport Planning);
Strong report writing ability;
Highly numerate and an analytical mindset;
Prior experience in transport planning would be beneficial;
Excellent communication & presentation skills;
Experience with Excel, AutoCAD, Vissim, Arcady, Picady or LinSig would be beneficial.Duties will include but not be limited to:
Provision of transport assessments & statements;
Preparation & coordination of travel planning schemes;
Junction analysis & network assessments;
Preliminary highway designs;
Liaise with clients & attend meetings.Benefits Include:
