Contract: 3 months (Possible further extension)
Salary: GBP350 per day (Negotiable)
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Pattern: Full-time

DUTIES

Contribute to the preparation of commissioning and procurement activity plans and pipelines.
Ensuring commissioned contracts are compliant with statutory and regulatory regimes.
Support development and delivery of higher value/risk procurement projects and lead on tendering of lower value projects.
Assist with the development and delivery of appropriate category and sub-category strategies.
Spend and market data through a variety of media.
To be involved with negotiating and development of negotiating strategies with suppliers. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience working in a similar sector or organisation.
Relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience.
Understanding of any legislation changes which could impact on the way in which commissioned contracts are developed and monitored.
Ability to prioritise and manage resources in order to deliver tendering and projects objectives.
Well-developed communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to manage detailed processes and handling of data.
Ability to carry out effective contract management of procured contracts.
