We are looking for a Tactical Supply Chain Manager to join the existing procurement team. This is a permanent role with plenty of scope. 

Job Responsibilities:
You'll be responsible for the tactical delivery of supplied product to meet business needs with the expectation that you will deliver improved supplier performance and to develop the talents of the team empowering them to make decisions and supporting both their personal and professional development, you'll do this by:
* Proactive management and improvement of all procurement activities required to support timely delivery of quality product to meet business and customer needs.
* Attend internal supply meetings as and when required to support Value Stream forecasts and customer demand reviews.
* Support business SIOP processes with clear supply plans that facilitate accurate delivery forecasts to the business and customers.
* Collaborate with production planning to establish forecasting process that facilitates full visibility to suppliers for more accurate planning and delivery with best cost solutions.
* Maintain manufacturing lead times within business system
* Manage supplier business review process and collaborate with supplier quality team to review and address supplier performance
* Maintain good working relationships with SQA team
* Collaborate across all business teams and encourage/present positive supply chain working relationships with key stakeholders
* Resolve invoice queries with accounts payable team
* Undertake supplier site visits as and when required
* Collaborate with Supply Chain Strategic team to identify and execute supplier improvement projects that support supplier improvement requirements
* Present weekly and monthly performance measures to demonstrate continuous improvement to supplier and team performance
* Collaborate across functions to manage blockers that inhibit tactical teams’ ability to succeed.
* Working closely with commodity management, manage tactical PPV negotiations outside of supplier agreement processes

About you:
* 5+ years of experience in a purchasing management role
* CIPS level 4 or equivalent qualification from a recognised educational academic board or equivalent professional experience.
* Ability to empower and inspire teams to deliver excellence.
* Ability to nurture individuals and develop plans for personal growth
* Ability to assess risk and establish risks management or mitigation plans
* Excellent negotiation, organisational and communication skills
* Commercially minded with an ability to deliver “outside of the box” solutions to commercial problems.
* Positive can-do attitude
* Total cost of acquisition analytical skills desirable
* Strong IT skills, including working knowledge of MS office and ERP systems (Visual and/or Syteline preferred but not essential)
* Ability to be self-motivated and a confident decision maker within business approval
guidelines.
