Supply Chain Project Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen working for a prestigious company based in Cheltenham. We are looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager to join the existing procurement team. This is a permanent role with plenty of scope. 

Job Responsibilities:
● Manage supplier led projects to improve quality, cost and delivery performance to the business
● Engage closely with all stakeholders to deliver successful improvement projects that support business KPIs and quality product to the business
● Working closely with the business PMO, establish robust adoption processes that ensure smooth transition from adoption to business as usual (BAU) including integration of supply chain into existing approved supplier and rationalisation processes
● Collaborate with commodity management and planning to ensure adoption suppliers are considered in supplier rationalisation projects
● Support customer facing teams in customer led bids, continuous improvement projects and supplier performance improvement projects
● Collaborate with Supplier Quality to ensure corrective actions are established and effective for all quality performance related projects
● Manage large delivery or cost down projects to support business KPIs and delivery commitments
● Collaborating with commodity management, lead and manage supplier transfer projects to support rationalisation, cost down and introduction of supplier agreements

Person Specification:
● Degree Level educated or can demonstrate equivalent level of experience, knowledge and skills applied in practice.
● Experience in project management and supply chain planning (Aerospace preferred but not essential)
● Experience in manufacturing, service or maintenance environment
● Excellent project management, organisational, and communication skills
● Ability to present solutions for stakeholder approval
● Positive can-do attitude
● Strong IT skills, including working knowledge of MS office and ERP systems essential (Visual and/or Syteline preferred)
● Ability to be self-motivated and a confident decision maker within business approval
  guidelines.
