Your new role
An exciting role has arisen for a Procurement Contract Support officer to join the organisation. The main duties within this role will be to support the category managers with running tenders and contract management. Main duties of responsibility will include;

* Running analysis and trends and turning them into something of substance
* Using knowledge of finance, sales and Procurement
* Being enthusiastic and a team player
* Having the ability to organise and prioritise your workload
* Paying attention to detail as well as clear and accurate presentation & communication been key to been successful in this role
* Being able to engage with stakeholders, build relationships & trust
* Having a logical, organised and methodical approach which will allow you to maximise the influence that this role will have in supporting the team
* Having an analytical and methodical approach which will enable you to fully understand your category areas and analyse the organisation data to influence solutions to support the Procurement strategies which fulfil the organisation requirements
* Supporting the Category Managers to deliver financial savings, performance improvements and added value that supports the performance of the business.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful as a Procurement Contract Support Officer you will need the following;

* The ability to analyse data from a wide set of resources
* Good Microsoft Excel skills including being experienced in V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
* Ability to proactively identify areas of opportunity within Procurement Spend
* Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics
* Manage Procurement reports
* Proven track record in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders
* A logical approach to work with great attention to detail
