ICT Procurement Manager ??? 9 month FTC

We have a new opportunity available with one of our clients in the North West. The focus of the role will be to plan and deliver a collaborative transformation programme which has the potential to drive system integration, improvement through standardisation and deliver multi-million pound savings opportunities.
Initially for a fixed term of 9 months, the position is with a large public sector organisation with office locations throughout Lancashire but with the option for the successful applicant to be home based for the assignment duration. Whilst the opportunity does sit within the public sector we are looking at skills across the market meaning that experience of Public Contract Regulations (2015) is not a mandated requirement for this role. You will be working with public sector specialists to ensure that the chosen strategies can be delivered within the public procurement framework.
The role specifics will include a mix of hardware procurement, telecoms and projects such as the digitalisation of paper records. The vast majority of stakeholder engagement will be via Microsoft Teams and there will be an expectation of some on site working but this will be limited and by prior agreement.
