Technical Buyer
Permanent Staff | Bedfordshire
The Company
Our client is a world leader specialist Manufacturing company with a fantastic reputation in the industry. They are currently seeking a Technical Buyer to join their growing procurement team.
The Role
My client is looking for a Technical Buyer to manage stock levels and forecast material requirements against planned production
The responsibilities are listed below:
?? Placing orders based on the reports distributed by Purchasing Team Leader; analyse and review the needs prior to placing order.
?? Negotiate with Vendors to obtain best agreement for goods and services required by the business
?? Optimise inventory levels of all purchased items by determining inventory levels in order to support the business objectives
?? Provide and excellent customer service to customers all around the world
?? Ensure all purchasing Data on SAP is monitored and kept up to date.
The Candidate
1. Must be experienced in a Technical Buying/Purchasing environment
2. Competent using SAP
3. Good communication skills
