Head of IT Procurement

Head of IT Procurement, Exclusive role, London, FTSE 250, GBP80K-GBP90K DOE.

Fuse are working exclusively with a FTSE 250 organisation in London to recruit a new Head of IT Procurement.

Reporting directly to the IT Operations Director, the successful candidate will be an integral member of the IT leadership team. The position will manage and administer the IT purchasing and procurement for the PLC, UK and some EME countries.

The successful candidate will lead the transformation of the team from both a process and structure perspective to support the business in which is allowing staff to be more flexible and therefore more logistically challenging.

• Management of suppliers of IT services to the business, including hardware purchases, licenses, and maintenance as well as operational spend such as communications and hosting.
• Provide financial support to project teams requiring hardware asset purchases for Office moves and refurbs.
• Run tender processes for new systems and services, as well as regular benchmarking and reviews of current contracts in place.
• Liaise with the Financial team to ensure swift processing and payment of invoices
• Develop and update procurement policies and procedures; and develop a centralised procurement program that will add value and efficiency to the organisation
• Develop and communicate a procurement strategic business plan; establish, communicate, and implement long-term goals for the department to promote effectiveness and efficiency.
• Develop and administer procurement team performance and development plans and appraisals.

An excellent communicator and leader, you will be a quick thinking and energetic person looking for a new challenge. Candidates should have 10 years' procurement experience, with a minimum of 3 years in management.
