Supply Chain Manager - Award Winning Procurement Function - Aerospace & Defence - SW London/ remote - £50 - 60K + Package

An award-winning procurement function within a leading Aerospace & Defence organisation is searching for a CAPEX/ Major Equipment Supply Chain Manager to join their Aerospace team. With an excellent training scheme and a pre-mapped route to procurement leadership, this is an excellent opportunity for any ambitious procurement specialist with a comprehensive understanding of Major Equipment and CAPEX. You will be working within a close-knit team of highly skilled procurement and supply chain professionals to deliver on complex contracts and £multimillion projects across the globe.

This Major Equipment Supply Chain Manager role will involve:

• Liaising with senior stakeholders and key suppliers to push through new procurement initiatives and secure cost savings
• Developing, implementing and managing customer management plans to build & ensure good working relationships with staff, subcontractors and suppliers

• Acting as the Subject Matter Expert and focal point on all Procurement and Supply Chain related issues
• Leading the required tendering, negotiation, placement and contract of major subcontracts for defined areas of responsibility

• Setting up, developing and implementing contract management protocols for major contracts

This CAPEX and Major Equipment Supply Chain Manager must have:

• The gravitas to influence and challenge senior stakeholders and management
• A solid Procurement and Supply Chain background in CAPEX and Major Equipment projects (within aerospace would be useful)
• Degree or equivalent
• CIPS or equivalent
