This top university in the UK are looking for a Senior Procurement Consultant to join their team for a significant 3-5 year project pipeline, have full ownership of the category, and have major focus on sustainability.

This university is transitioning and looking to invest heavily into its IT and estates to improve their campus, teaching and research infrastructure, therefore, this Senior Procurement Consultant role will be paramount. You would be responsible for navigating and delivering these investment roadmaps, achieving transformative outputs for this university to benefit from for years. You will be a key player in the estates portfolio, comprising works, building renovations, specialist professional services, building fitting out and long-term maintenance.

This particular university has recent launched a sustainability project, in which you will be embedded into to achieve aims and objectives, so a passion for sustainability is key for the successful candidate. Parallel to this you will be leading pre-procurement, sourcing and contract management activities. These include strategy development, negotiation, market engagement, tendering, supplier management and briefings.
This successful Senior Procurement Consultant needs to have Strategic Procurement Experience, worked on an objection basis, experience in negotiation, and preferably within university style organisations.
