Hardware Buyer

A leading IT company are looking for a Hardware Buyer to join their growing Procurement team based in London. This company partners with some of the world leading tech companies in driving profitability through innovative technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

Collaboratively work with Finance and Sales to identify the best sourcing opportunities
Build relationships with new and existing suppliers
Utilise the current supply base to source Hardware
Go out to market to source Hardware where the requirements cannot be met within the current supply base (RFQ/RFI)
Provide quotations to the Sales team to a high standard of accuracy and competency
Place Supplier purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner
Update system to document and monitor supplier performance
Identify projects, savings and efficiencies within the Hardware category
Report, present and communicate data to colleagues as and when required
Ensure that day to day processes of the business are followed and remain compliant
Key requirements include:

Knowledge of IT industry preferred
Experience of sourcing Hardware
Great team player & good eye for detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels
CIPS preferred but not essential
