Delivering Transformational Procurement strategy through developing and delivering sourcing, procurement and contracting activities for a portfolio of goods and services
Client Details
Our client have an opening in the team for a Senior Procurement Professional to undertake responsibility for developing and delivering sourcing, procurement and contracting activities for a portfolio of goods and services, including high value and capex expenditure contracts in order to ensure the ongoing viability of the asset portfolio.
The Senior Procurement Manager will maintain market knowledge and supply market relationships for areas of expenditure, developing strategic supply chain strategies that will underpin organisational objectives; ensuring delivery of significant savings and continuity of supply whilst ensuring risks identification and mitigation.
Description
- Drive Procurement Strategies that deliver savings targets, performance improvement and supplier rationalisation
- Formulate, negotiate and manage contracts for defined range of market areas to secure the best terms and conditions and financial outcome
- Enable best practice to be achieved through effective internal and external stakeholder engagement and management
- Ensure all contracts procured meet the Company's requirements
- Ensure suppliers provide service in accordance with contractual obligations and in line with defined KPI's
- Review all relevant legislation, rules, processes and procedures and recommend enhancements to deliver continuous improvement
- Deliver efficiency's through the use of best Procurement practice and technologies
- Administer all commercial aspects of the contracts
Profile
To be considered for this role you will demonstrate a track record of delivery gained in a regulated procurement environment and demonstrating an agile approach in line with the business demands
Qualified by degree or relevant Professional qualification e.g. CIPS and relative experience
Proven track record of delivering optimum results through delivering highly effective Procurement Strategies
Significant Procurement and Contract Management experience including high value/high risk and complex Procurement's
Experience of identifying areas of improvement and implementing Procurement best practice, processes and policies
