Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager

Our client based in Bristol are seeking a Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager Salary:

Dependent on Experience

Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager Key responsibilities will include:

• Minimise cost and risk of projects and enhance value for money while achieving legal standards and quality
• Preparation and submission of invoices and applications for payment through to monies received
• Prepare estimates and costs of work whilst projects are in progress keeping track of variations to the contract and their costs, tracking profitability
• Allocate works to subcontractors, valuations of their work and payment authorisation
• Assisting with tender/bills of quantities/pricing and negotiation
• Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes
• Liaise between site managers, projects managers and the clients and support operational teams with financial and contractual matters
• Profit and loss and cost management reporting

Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager Requirements:

A successful candidate will have a degree in quantity surveying or equivalent as well as previous experience of working in a similar role with a construction/demolition background. Good level of competence in Sage and Outlook applications, strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required for this role.

Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager Hours:

Hours are between Mondays and Fridays from 8am till 5pm.
