Nayr Recruitment are currently looking for a Commercial Manager for a 12 months contract within the public sector.

Duration: 12 months

Level of vetting: SC+ (please note this may take up to 4 months to complete so perm candidates will be looked at)

Rate of pay: Upto GBP500 per day (Umbrella and inside IR35)

Location: Birmingham, London, Warrington (3 days a week before WFM is lifted)

Day to day duties

* Working closely with key stakeholders to assist with tender clarifications and the evaluation / moderation process;

* Assistance with the exit strategy of existing FM supplier;

* Assist with preparation of documentation relating to internal governance;

* Assist with contract award process and mobilisation of the successful bidder;

* Adherence to the GCF Sourcing Playbook and Cabinet Office Spend Controls;

* Ensure the activity supports delivery of NCA/Cabinet Office objectives and takes account of cross government initiatives, market developments and corporate social responsibility;

* Sharing good practice and knowledge across the wider Commercial team;

* Assist with other procurements and contract management activities where appropriate

Key skills - Essential

* Good knowledge and understanding of procurement law and public procurement regulations

* Practical experience of undertaking end to end procurement exercises including development of key procurement documents.

* Excellent interpersonal skills/stakeholder management skills.

* Excellent organisational and analytical skills.

* Experience of using CCS Frameworks.

* Experience in working within Cabinet Office Spend Controls and the Sourcing Playbook.

* Experience of e-sourcing tools (such as Jaggaer) and Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Project.

Desirable

* Experience of undertaking FM procurements using Frameworks.

* Project Management experience

Previous authority needed?

* NO- massively beneficial though as they are more likely to CCS frameworks and spending playbooks
