Your new roleThe warehouse manager is the main point of contact for the supply chain process Working within operations the warehouse manager is essentially responsible for organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage, distribution of internally required materials and dispatch of finished products/materials. Ensuring that both the footprint and labour associated with the operation is maximized. You will be experienced in warehousing, managing warehouse employees, processes, and a warehouse management system. You will be in charge of maintaining safety standards to ensure that products are received, dispatched, and delivered safely and efficiently. You will be a leader who works closely with your warehouse employees to meet the organisations goals and objectives. . You will have previous, extensive experience working within a warehouse and an understanding of the basic operations of a best in class warehouse.What you'll need to succeedWarehouse management/supervision experience essential. Experience of working with stakeholders at various levels of a business. Proficient user of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project and analysis tools including the simulation software (Simul8) Knowledge of continuous improvement strategies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, 6-sigma, TPM etc.) Have the ability to manage projects with multiple cross-functional interfaces, have good written and oral communication skills, and be capable of working on own initiative.What you'll get in returnA salary of between GBP45,000 and GBP55,000 DOE.
