Castlefield are currently recruiting a Buyer to join a Public Sector organisation in the West Midlands. This fully remote role will be a fixed-term contract for 3 6 months and will offer extension opportunities further down the line.
The Role:
Deliver cost-effective procurement plans to achieve savings and hit financial targets
Advise stakeholders at all levels on procurement policy
Lead on low to medium value contract procurement activity
Support senior procurement staff on high value contracts
Update contracts database and utilize eProcurement systems
Conduct analysis work and carry out RFQ processes
The Person:
Experience working within a busy procurement department
Public Sector experience desirable
Microsoft Office
Knowledge of tendering process
