Our Client is one of the largest FMCG companies in the world, with more than 150 years of experience within the field. For this job role, they are looking for a self-managed, motivated, experienced individual who can work well in challenging projects and a target driven environment within the procurement team, based in London

Your new role
This well-established family-owned company are very excited to bring on board an experienced individual who can dive straight into various exciting Capex procurement projects i.e., warehouse expansion and automation, demolition and production equipment. The growing procurement team that has grown from a team of 4 to 10 are ready to open their doors to an individual with expertise across procurement.
As a Senior Capex Buyer, you will be integrating your knowledge and skills into this role, which will consist of handling large volume orders, managing various projects. Building relationships with vendors, being able to negotiate and work well under pressure. Within this role, the use of Microsoft systems and using your initiative of negotiating prices, research and evaluating global suppliers is ideal. Having experience as a CapEX buyer and purchasing on an SAP system would be a great benefit.

What you'll need to succeed
To be able to succeed within this role you will need to be able to work under pressure, be persistent and use initiative. The ability to stay self-motivated, create your own KPIS and articulate yourself in a clear manner is very important for this role. To succeed in this role, you will have prior procurement experience across production, FMCG or manufacturing ideally. You will be willing to learn and work within a fast-paced environment.
