Job Details
A leading technology organisation is looking to recruit a Procurement and Supply Chain Excellence Manager.
This company offers bespoke solutions for its clients. This role has arisen within the corporate function to deliver “best practice” and analyse and manage risk within all procurement and supply chain operations.
Reporting to the Head of the department, you will focus on building exceptional internal relationships to ensure message delivery and external relationships to ensure clear supplier engagement.
As Supply Chain Excellencee Manager your key responsibilities will be:
- The continuous improvement programme and ensuring that you strive to bring industry best practices into the organisation, with an initial focus on establishing and implementing a supply chain social value framework model.
- Identifying and managing emerging risks within the supply chain as well as ensuring existing risks are managed with appropriate control measures.
- Work with category managers and suppliers to ensure that the end-to-end supply chain is resilient to any potential disruption.
Qualifications and experience:
- A Supply Chain & Procurement professional with extensive experience in supply chain processes and risk management.
- Qualified to Degree/MBA level with membership of a meaningful professional body (e.g. CIPS).
- Strong leadership, communication and senior partner management skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, including project management.
- Confirmed knowledge and skill in:
- Supply chain risk frameworks, tools, interventions and reporting.
- Implementing best practice and social value frameworks
- Leading cross-functional teams and projects.
- Delivery of process re-engineering and performance improvement.
- Regulated business requirements.
