Category Manager Procurement

Based in London, this is a procurement opportunity within a successful and growing restaurant brand with over 200 sites within the UK. The role will lead a small team of buyers and manage the procurement of various food and beverage categories. The role will be a senior position within an established procurement function that has a fantastic culture and calibre of procurement professionals. DescriptionLeading the procurement of various food (produce, meats, fresh & frozen) categories, spend circa 50m.Managing and developing a team of buyers.Developing long term relationships with suppliers from both the UK and worldwide.Working cross functionally with other internal stakeholders (NPD, marketing, finance, general managers...) Profile6 + years experience in food, drink or ingredients procurement. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.The ability to be a strong communicator.A drive to succeed and passion for food. A fun and approachable nature.
