This role of Deputy Site Services Contract Manager involves the delivery of all site based service contracts. The daily activities include interfacing with various departments and stakeholders around the site to ensure tasks are delivered safely and to high standards. This role is both challenging and exciting; with a wide range of personnel around the site that will help you to see the uniqueness of Decommissioning at Dungeness A site.

Key Deliverables

The successful candidate will be reporting to a Line Manager and will be undertaking the following tasks (under guidance from the SSCM):

  1. Managing one large or two/three smaller term service contracts on site and within one programme with a portfolio value of GBP250K toGBP1m pa.
  2. Co-ordinate the activities of site based service contractors, including collating compliance/defect demands from all programmes on site.
  3. Ensure involvement with the site compliance/defect planning activities and tasks are completed by the framework contractors in an efficient manner
  4. Ensure clear scopes of work are issued to suppliers, quotations, early warnings, compensation events are requested and assessed and dealt with in a timely manner.
  5. Review financial, performance and commercial data of the framework contractors (e.g.KPIs).
  6. Manage and deliver the sites defects and compliance work
  7. Report to the SSCM and provide support with stakeholder management and work planning activities across the site

Qualifications

E=Essential, D=Desirable

  1. Educated to HNC/D or equivalent in relevant discipline (E)
  2. Working knowledge and experience of contract management/NEC3 and CEMAR (or equivalent) (E)
  3. APMP or equivalent experience (D)
  4. IOSH Managing Safely (D)
  5. Working knowledge of MS Project (D)
  6. Working knowledge of CDM 2015 (D)
