Procurement Manager - Indirects - Leading Professional Services Firm - Leeds or Manchester - £60k - £65k + Package dependent on experience

Due to recent growth, this leading professional services firm are looking for a strong procurement candidate to join their close-knit team. The successful applicant will be given excellent exposure to manage key areas of spend within a highly regarded organisation.

Procurement Manager - Indirect Services responsibilities:

  • Working with the Head of Procurement, you will Design and implement innovative strategic sourcing strategies
  • Successfully own and manage procurement projects across the Indirect Categories including but not limited to HR, Facilities, Travel, Marketing & Real Estate
  • Within a high calibre organisation, you will successfully navigate cross functional stakeholder relationships to grow procurements profile and implement strategy
  • Manage contract renewals, successfully negotiating cost efficient deals with suppliers
  • Competently and successfully building and managing supplier relationships

Procurement skills required: -

  • Significant procurement expertise with demonstrable experience operating a strategic end to end procurement role
  • In-depth knowledge of generalist indirect procurement categories
  • Degree and studying towards or completed CIPIS qualifications
  • Strong supplier relationship management experience
  • Excellent communication skillset to effectively engage stakeholders within a corporate environment
  • A confident, authoritative and personable air
