Procurement Specialist - Technology & Software- Global Leading Law-Firm - London based + home working - £50-60k + package

This leading global law firm, generating over £600M in 2020 revenues and highly ranked within their industry, are looking to bring onboard a strategic procurement specialist into their growing and highly functional technology and data procurement team, reporting directly into the global procurement lead.

This firm recently embarked on a global procurement transformation program, of which a centralised global team was introduced, with this role being a key part of it's development. It is a greenfield team and function, offering unapparelled opportunities for growth and development, whilst also offering their staff ample opportunities for further learning and development, making it an ideal opportunity for this looking to step into a more autonomous position.

Key Procurement Specialist role responsibilities:

  • Category management of key spend areas, focussed around technology, data and telecoms, implementing and developing key procurement strategies for said categories
  • Manage and execute key procurement projects in line with business values, supporting and influencing key decision makers along the way
  • Running strategic sourcing and tendering processes, undertake industry and market analysis, whilst ensuring compliance and contract management processes are in place and upheld
  • Take advantage of this firms opportunities for personal development and learning, allowing you to progress to management and beyond

Key procurement skillsets and experience required:

  • Procurement specialist experience within telecoms and IT professional service spend, ideally with operating experience with cisco or related technologies
  • Proven experience of building and delivering procurement strategies on a global level
  • Demonstratable experience of delivering to deadlines and ability to work with and influence key business stakeholders
  • Degree level education is preferred however not essential
