Procurement Category Manager Interim
Your new company
Working for a local health care trust who have a mature procurement department set up with the need to support the delivery of several projects and procurement's.
Your new role
* You will set procurement strategies and lead on procurements for a range products
* Ensures that current and developed sourcing practices and processes conform to overall trust and national procurement policies.
* Negotiates local or regional contracts in
* Develops and implements strategies for negotiations with suppliers
* Liaise with end users/stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
* Must be familiar with OJEU tenders
* Sound knowledge and understanding of PCR2015
* Demonstrate clear procurement experience and category knowledge ideally across FM, Estates,
Construction,Medical equipment, Clinical and Non-Clinical
* Strong understanding of the principles and application of category management
* Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team to collaborate towards a shared goal
