Senior Supply Chain Manager - Global Defence major

Blue Chip Multinational Defence Firm - Senior Supply Chain Manager - £50 - 60K - Surrey / Hampshire

Due to an internal promotion a rapidly expanding Blue Chip multinational firm is urgently seeking an ambitious Supply Chain Manager to join their award-winning sourcing hub. Renowned for some of the most hi-tech and futuristic projects within defence they are looking for innovative and ambitious Supply Chain and Procurement professionals to arm their team for up and coming £multimillion projects.

This strategic sourcing role will involve:-

• Being involved in and leading a variety of high spend sourcing projects
• Creating innovative sourcing strategies across indirect generalist categories
• Benefiting from a personally tailored development plan that has been constructed by board level members to ensure rapid development
• Regularly engaging with VP level stakeholders, and building key relationships with both key suppliers and incumbents

Necessary background:-

• Strong background of supply chain and/or procurement, including RFP, RFQ, contract drafting, negotiation and stakeholder engagement phases
• High level of articulacy and professionalism
• Extensive experience of handling high-value and complex projects across a vast range of supply chain projects
• Degree and CIPS qualified (preferable but not essential)
