1492 Search has an excellent opportunity for a buyer seeking a new opportunity with services and contract experience. We are helping a busy company find a Buyer - Direct and Indirect Materials, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.
As a flexible Buyer, you will perform tasks for the purchasing department dealing with internal and external customers, supporting the team with market testing from enquiry to quotation submission.
In your first week in this Buyer - direct and indirect Materials role, you can expect to:
* Manage the purchase of direct and indirect materials, services and contracts.
* Arrange quotations for production and service contracts.
* Market-test and propose cost savings to the purchase manager.
* Raise, approve and expedite indirect orders.
