As the business progresses through its digital transformation, towards its ambition of becoming a GBP1 billion turnover business, this opportunity forms part of the wider organisational development of the Trading function, in support of that target. Due to demand the business is looking for an Assistant Buyer - Homeware team. They offer a number of benefits and allow a mix of home & office working.

Description

• As an Assistant Buyer, you will support the buyer in the sourcing of a range of products that meet the clients customers' expectations, achieving sales and margin targets.
• Working as part of a busy buying team, you will support the buyer in the development and delivery plans for product ranges and manage the administrative elements of the critical path.
• Working collaboratively and proactively, you will build relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to maximise efficiency

Profile

• Working knowledge of buying processes
• Fashion, Buying, Business, Marketing or similar degree / education
• Proven track record for developing effective working relationships
• Competitor knowledge and understanding in both retail and online
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise effectively whilst working at pace
