BUYER or ASSISTANT BUYER - RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPER
About Our Client:
They have been established and building homes within Oxfordshire for nearly 100 years! They typically deliver greenfield residential sites ranging from 10-200 dwellings, including 2-5 bed family homes and 1-3 bed apartments. This company pride themselves on how active in the local community they are and how they continually strive to donate and raise funds for good causes.
The Role:
You will be tasked with purchasing materials for live and upcoming developments. The role will include the procurement of materials, plant and sometimes sub-contract. You will be the sole buyer in the department, taking these duties from the current Surveyors. It is a real chance to add value to the business
The Applicant:
The ideal candidate must have:
* Experience working for a housebuilder (ideally volume) - Minimum 30-unit projects
* Experience working as an Assistant Buyer or Buyer role for a Developer
It is desirable to have:
* The long-term drive to develop your career within this business
