We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Category Buyer on a fixed term contract 12 months. You will be based at our European Head Office in Gravesend, Kent. You will join us on a full time, basis working Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5.30 and in return you will receive a highly competitive salary.

About the Direct Procurement role:

You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier performance for the category of Components within the Direct Procurement team. Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with strategic suppliers and internal customers to achieve the optimum result for the company.

Key relationships with all internal departments at all levels within the organisation: particular emphasis on relationships with Planning, Product Management, Quality, Commercial / Finance and Customer Experience

Interface with Global Sourcing Team to align with global strategies.

Manage suppliers to measure and improve performance. Promote continuous improvement.

Identify and implement initiatives to improve Moove's supply chain- security of supply, efficiencies, and costs. Negotiate to close.

Utalise market insight and subscriptions to better understand and forecast future trends and impact to cost of goods.

Work with suppliers and EESG global team to explore and implement sustainable initiatives (specifically with regards to waste management and plastic reduction).

Skills required of our Category Buyer- Components role:

• A University degree or qualification in Procurement/ CIPS

• Procurement/Buyer/Purchasing background

• Strong commercial acumen, including contract negotiation

• Excellent communication, relationship building and inter-personal skills

• Ability to multi-task and problem solve with the capability to work under pressure
