Buyer
Our highly reputable client based in Aberdeen is looking to recruit an experienced Buyer on a permanent basis.
The Role:
An experienced buyer who has had Involvement in the full supply chain cycle - exposure to buying, expediting, materials control and material logistics.
The Person:
Ideally experience in the full supply chain cycle with a strong understanding of the Aberdeen market.
Experience of procurement in the Oil & Gas market
A background in dealing with and supplying to Operators
Previous experience within a Procurement environment
Take actions wherever necessary to identify and mitigate risks and ensure that suppliers fulfil the contracts/purchase orders.
You will have extensive experience in a procurement environment, with involvement in supplier management processes. You should have knowledge of a variety of purchasing methods / procedures and ERP systems. A relevant Supply Chain qualification (e.g. CIPS) is preferred, but not essential.
