JOB TITLE: Senior Buyer - Project Bid and Proposal
LOCATION: Working remotely with occasional travel to Preston
RATE/SALARY: GBP26.00 Per Hour PAYE / GBP34.20 Per Hour Umbrella
Duration: Long Term (12 months + contract)
37 hours per week MON-FRI

The Role:
Senior Buyer opportunity supporting existing projects and bids for Global Nuclear Organisation.
Lead end-to-end tender exercises using e-tendering system
Prepare and negotiate contracts.
Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders ensuring early supply chain involvement in projects bids from Bid/no Bid stage to contract execution and management.
Support product lines in bid and proposal activities to secure new business opportunities
Identify and record saving opportunities
Market analysis and supplier financial analysis on existing and new suppliers
Identification and selection of new suppliers
Participate in process improvement activities
Implementation of framework subcontracts
Ensure compliance to process and procedure
Use SAP to create/amend POs and Outline Agreements

Must have Skills:
End to end / cradle to grave tendering
Capex experience
Excellent commercial/business awareness
Excellent IT skills, Microsoft office applications, data handling
NEC contract formation and management

Desirable:
NEC contracts

Must have Qualifications;
MCIPS qualified
Business or similar degree
