Junior Buyer

ERS are looking for a Junior Buyer to work in Watford.

This will be working for a construction company.

This role will be office based.

Job Role:

* Day to day buying for numerous sites

* Working with senior buyer to coincide delivery schedules, invoices and procurement

This is a permenant role.

Regular telephone use will be required to source and contact suppliers to gather supporting documents to prepare orders for materials, tools, plant with other administrative duties.

* Handling site raised requisitions, sourcing suppliers or using existing, creating comparison of supplier pricing, placing orders with best solution, and checking through to delivery

* Checking and imputing of orders to the in-house procurement softwareComputer literacy, good IT skills are required, particularly with MS Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft Office software

* High degree of accuracy for order checking and inputting

* Gathering information and producing reports in Excel, for monthly spends etc

* Book keeping and filing as required

* The accurate daily input of financial data as required by the department
