A global retailer who is a household name is looking for a Senior Ethical Trade Exective to join their growing team. They operate as 'one team' with the rest of the business.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a Senior Ethical Trade Executive (Central Support) to join their growing team in Dublin. You will have the opportunity to be the interface between the Regional Ethical Trade Teams in China, India, Bangladesh, Turkey, UK and South East Asia and the buying and sourcing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of the new factory approval process, including scheduling audits, managing and processing documentation, ensuring that factories are approved in a timely manner
  • Ensuring consistency of standards across the global field teams in audit methodology and rating
  • Oversight of the existing factory audit process
  • Management and communication of the supplier "live" lists and the associated information systems for buyers
  • Providing support to buyers on ET issues
  • Communication and explanation of audit results to buying teams, sourcing, suppliers and factories
  • Providing support to suppliers and factories to support them through the approval process
  • Running reports and presenting performance of the audit programme to the business
  • Managing 3rd party auditor relationships as required
  • Managing stakeholder relationships as required
  • Ensuring processes within the organsiations Ethical Trade programme support the business and maintain their leading ETI position.


Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in CR and ET
  • Factory audit and remediation processes (SA8000 advanced)
  • Excellent organisation/communication skills
  • Proven ability to work at a fast pace and deliver results
  • Previous experience building and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders & across a business
  • Expert in database systems and associated reporting and other IT tools
