•Metal Pressing, Anodizing and Assembling
•Plastic Extrusion and Injection Moulding
•Mechanical, Chemical and Electrical Engineering and Maintenance •Loading, Handling and Inspecting
•Sales, Procurement and Customer service
•Warehousing, Transport and Logistic
Due to expansion and continued growth, we are seeking a sharp and intelligent individual to join our team as a Buyer. The successful candidate will be self motivated and thrive on challenges. A background in packaging would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
?? Manage company stock levels using forecasting and back-order processes.
?? Raise purchase orders with suppliers.
?? Expedite orders to ensure on-time deliveries
?? 3-Way matching of supplier invoicing.
?? Calculate delivered costs for solutions
?? Maintain relationships with key suppliers (Worldwide).
?? Support sales team to provide quick responses to customer enquiries.
?? Ensure all suppliers and products comply to current (and future) legislation and quality requirements.
?? Liaise and assist Sales on NPD projects.
?? Product drawing and document control.
?? Supplier and customer questionnaire completion.
?? Regular reporting to senior management.
?? Organise Sample Stock for New Ranges.
?? Any other reasonable tasks required by the company.
Required Skills, Experience and Requirements
?? Minimum 2-3 years' experience in similar role or CIPS qualified.
?? Strong technical background ideal but not essential.
?? Primary packaging experience an advantage.
?? Ability to problem solve and 'think outside the box'.
?? Highly process driven with excellent file management skills.
?? Ability to work autonomously.
?? Clear, articulate and effective communicator.
?? Excellent negotiation skills essential.
?? Excellent communication skills with suppliers, both verbal and written.
