This global market leader in the professional services sector provides exceptional procurement outsourcing services to its clients around the world. Following a highly successful year, the business has secured an additional pipeline of projects from one of its key customers and requires a skilled team to lead their tail-spend spend management, tactical sourcing and vendor management operations.

The Procurement Analyst will report to the Procurement Director and provide analytical support for tactical procurement operations including the design, analysis and reporting of sourcing, contracting and supplier data.

Additional responsibilities of the Procurement Analyst will include:-

• Collect and rationalise data from multiple sources ensuring data integrity and accuracy
• Preparation and presentation of analytical results to business leadership
• Maintaining data integrity of databases and implementing changes where possible to improve accuracy and usefulness of data
• Provide subject matter expertise on all matters related to tactical sourcing data, systems and processes
• Preparation of useful forecasts and trends analysis that can be utilised by procurement leadership in decision making

As this is a newly created position, it will be an exciting opportunity for someone to step in to a critical customer account to help build and develop a new team who will deliver another level of service to this customer by optimizing their tail-spend and implementing a more effective approach to tactical sourcing and vendor management.
