Procurement Category Manager - All things Hot Beverages! - World Renowned Food and Beverages Brand - West London - £60-65k + other benefits

Are you an experienced Category Manager in the FMCG or Retail industry looking for a new challenge within an industry leading organization? As the Category Manager for Hot Beverages you will be part of a rapidly expanding procurement team in a highly demanding and challenging position sure to test your category management skills and knowledge. You will be responsible for all pre and post sourcing activities related to category strategy development and implementation.

The key responsibilities of the Procurement Category Manager will include:-

• Supporting the Senior Category Manager in developing and managing the overall business plan for your relevant categories
• Manage up to £50m category spend portfolio: determining business needs and sourcing strategy
• Management of all supplier relationships and contracts
• Optimization of category performance across a number of financial and non-financial targets.
• Actively engage with the wider business units and engage with key stakeholders across all levels of the business

As the Category Manager you will require the following skills to be successful in this role:-

• World-class negotiation skills
• Proven category development experience and a track record of delivery on projects.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
• Must be a strong team-player with leadership qualities and an innate ability to build relationships
• Must be degree qualified and CIPS qualification is highly desirable.
• Must have previous experience in Sourcing or Category Management within FMCG, Food Service, Food Manufacturing or Retail
