Senior Procurement Manager - MCIPS
Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation, working on some of the highest profile infrastructure and construction projects in the country. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to commercially manage large projects, develop team members, deliver works within deadlines, manage targets and grow client relationships. You will also have a proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver best-in-class strategic procurement in one of the key account clients.
Responsibilities
- Procurement lead large infrastructure projects, develop team members, oversee quality of deliverables, grow client relationships.
- Responsible for Project Procurement and framework delivery, creating procurement strategies, preparing tender documentation, assessing submissions, negotiate and recommending awards, preparing and issuing contract documents.
- To support work winning activities including bid preparation and proposals.
- Client satisfaction & Team development including mentoring junior staff.
- Experienced Procurement Management expert with project experience within rail & infrastructure projects.
- Have the ability to lead and develop key strategy and/or documentation that complies with public procurement regulations and experience of various forms of construction contracts, such as ICC & NEC.
- Strong supply chain knowledge and experience in market engagement.
- A strong background in tender preparation, management and evaluation. Experience using e-procurement software.
- Professionally qualified (MCIPS) or working towards with the desire and ambition to grow and develop our teams and create a lasting legacy.
