Job Title: Junior Buyer
Location: Nottingham
Salary: GBP24K-GBP25K
Monday - Thursday 6AM-2PM, Friday 4AM- 12noon

Our client produce all manner of bespoke cooked and raw ready-to-eat vegetables and carbohydrates for a growing list of customers. An in-depth knowledge of their products, customers and marketplace, coupled with a drive and commitment to exceed expectations - is at the heart of what they do.
They work with the best in chilled food manufacture, retail, food-service and food-to-go operators.
As a Junior Buyer you will play an important role within the company. You will ensure that raw materials are available for the productions team whilst trying to achieve 0% waste.
This is a fast-paced environment so commitment and ability to work under pressure should come naturally to you.
The Role
To ensure Raw Material is available from approved suppliers to meet production demand with a target of 100% availability
Stock Taking
Supplier Approval
To source new ingredients for our busy NPD Team
To undertake tenders for procurement of materials
Adhoc Administration tasks
