Buyer/Senior Buyer - Appliances/Electricals

As a Buyer you will be responsible for your individual categories across the department; devising and implementing strategies to ensure the most commercial and profitable ranges are offered to the customer.

Client Details

My client are a rapidly expanding pure-play retail company based in W. Yorkshire. They have grown rapidly across multiple categories over the last 18 months and smashed their initial growth budgets. Having grown their commercial team across buying, merchandising and E-com trading in the recent months. They are looking to continue the growth with another buying vacancy just signed off.

Description

You will be responsible for sourcing and selecting branded product across your categories, developing and maintaining strong relationships with your suppliers, trading your categories, and working closely with other Buyers within the business to promote cohesion across the ranges.

Profile

The successful individual will have worked within either Appliances, Electricals or Household and must have strong branded, category management experience. They will also have experience and be fully comfortable in dealing with the full product life cycle along with working cross functionally with the wider commercial team.
