Junior Buyer | Food manufacturing

Joining a fun, friendly and collaborative team, you will be purchasing raw materials for a Food manufacturing business who supply some of the world's biggest brands.
You'll be ensuring a continuous supply of raw materials to the business and also working closely with product development teams to source new products and suppliers.
Perhaps you have worked as a Purchasing Administrator or Buying Assistant and feel ready for your next step? This could be perfect!
The role is based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire which is easily commutable from Luton, Letchworth, Stevenage, Harpenden, Welwyn, etc.
There is also the option to work from home up to 2 days per week, once you are up and running.

If you've got experience working in the Food industry then that would be a huge advantage, but it's not essential - all Buying backgrounds will be considered.
You should be studying or wanting to study your CIPS qualification - professional development and CIPS accreditation is really important to the team and they are happy to provide study support.
This role is based at the site in Hitchin, but you must be also within a commutable distance of their new offices in Biggleswade that open in 2022.
