IT Procurement Specialist - Global Technology Major - £50K

With offices all over the UK, this permanent role allows you to work on a flexible basis between home and your nearest office. The salary on offer is circa £50,000. The IT Procurement Specialist will be responsible for:

• Managing sourcinging process, supplier negotiations and paperwork, strategic account relationships, performance evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives across complex and high value IT projects
• Drive saving initiatives in close cooperation with stakeholders (internal use, managed services and resell)
• Liaising with the Senior Procurement Manager and the UK Procurement team, working together to bring the latest enhancements and innovative solutions to your projects

Required Background for the IT Procurement Specialist:

• A track record of IT procurement or contract management experience, with a competence and a proven ability to manage supplier relationships, influence stakeholders and manage commercial contracts
• Product knowledge including hardware, software including licencing metrics, storage and maintenance

• Demonstrable experience in the public and/or private sector, where you have successfully implemented change through developing and applying strategies
• A strong education record, with CIPS being desirable but not essential
