Buyer
Do you enjoy using your negotiating skills? Are you passionate about purchasing? Do you enjoy travelling for work? Are you able to work independently to build a new client base? If you were unsure of any of these questions, then this role probably isn't for you; however, if you nodded along enthusiastically, keep reading!
TalentTide is delighted to be working with our client on the recruitment of a Buyer.
You will be reporting to the Purchasing Manager directly in this full-time, permanent role. You will work closely with the New Product Development Team and be responsible for all aspects of purchasing, including sourcing new suppliers, negotiating contracts and stock management.
You will need to have extensive experience in purchasing and have worked within a new product development team. You will have excellent communication skills and have a solid working understanding of the Microsoft Office suite. You will also have a knowledge of Incoterms and overseas procurement and be willing to travel both nationally and internationally.
We welcome all candidates with experience in a purchaser/buyer role who would like to continue to develop their skills. In a perfect world, you will have experience working to ISO standards, experience Lean or Six Sigma initiatives, and knowledge of Sage; however, this is not essential.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary with some brilliant benefits, and you will work in a continuously expanding company that is already a leader in its field.
