Food Buyer / Procurement position in Slough
Buyer required for leading Food Distributor in Slough
Buyer MUST have experience working in a Wholesale / Food Distribution industry.
Experience in a fast paced procurement team required
The Package:
GBP40,000 - GBP50,000
Car Allowance GBP5500
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Health care Plan
Pension - company contribution
The Role:
You will be managing supplier relationships and maximising the long term profitability of specified categories whilst achieving your short & long term budgeted targets.
You will be a 'hands-on' self-starter and must have excellent proven influencing and negotiating skills in managing product costs and income generation as well as the ability to develop, manage and implement category plans.
You will also be required to demonstrate an aptitude for financial acumen in managing your budgets.
Requirements :
Food Procurement / Buyer experience
Worked in a Distribution setting advantageous
A full driving licence
