Business Transformation Manager          

The role:

An exciting opportunity has become available to work full time on a 2-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) to facilitate a strategic cultural and transformative change of the business management capabilities that will improve operational agility, core market performance, and enable the exploitation of strategic supply chain and market expansion opportunities, whilst maintaining integrity of high performing business functions.

Employed and supported by a team of academic experts from the University, this post will be based at Anderton Board and Packaging Ltd's premises in Manchester.

Company information:

Founded in 1850, Anderton Board and Packaging are a family-owned company operating throughout the North of England specialising in the supply of solidboard/greyboard products.

Qualification we require:

The Associate is expected to hold an MSc in Operations Management (or similar management associated discipline), or be a recent MBA graduate, or hold a relevant master's degree in a marketing or business discipline.

Equivalent management qualifications, and industry experience with exposure at the appropriate levels as well as requisite knowledge of academic principles, will also be welcomed and considered.

  • Ability to quickly assimilate large volumes of technical information
  • Highly motivated with a desire to develop and engage in new knowledge
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to self-motivate
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Leadership qualities
