Job Title: Buyer
Location: Halesowen
Position: 12 month fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent
Basic salary: GBP35,000 - GBP37,000
Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00
Overview:
With manufacturing facilities located across the world we now require a Buyer to join the purchasing team. You will be working in a fast paced environment which gives variation in work load. This will be an admin intense role collating internal & external data by phone and email, and will require excel proficiency with the ability to use features such as formula creation, Vlookup etc.
The ideal Buyer will have as many of the following in order to strengthen the application:
- Previous experience working in a Buyer/Purchasing role within a manufacturing/engineering environment or similar
- Proven experience with Excel, ability to use pivot tables, Vlookup, formula creation etc.
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience managing key stakeholders in projects
Key responsibilities will include the following:
- Data input for new supplier creation
- Supporting with quotations
- Collating internal & external data
- General admin duties
Commutable from: Stourbridge, Dudley, Harborne, Halesowen and surrounding areas
