Job Details

Exciting Interim role for a Senior Buyer, with excellent IT Knowledge and CCS Frameworks experience. This opportunity is with an important Public Sector body.

Due to an increasing workload, our Public Sector client is looking for an experienced Senior Buyer - IT / Commercial Manager to join their team on an initial 5 month contract.

Ideally you will be immediately available; and you must have solid experience of working with frameworks such as G Cloud, CCS and DOS amongst others.
 

Experience required:

  • Strong contracts and commercial management  skills
  • Cloud based support, hosting, development and licencing
  • Procurement of WAN, LAN, VPN services
  • Hosting provisions such AWS or Azure.
  • Hardware Procurement
  • General software licencing, SaaS
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft world and understanding Microsoft MPSA/CSP

Senior Buyer Soft Skills:

  • Able to competently interact with and challenge internal ICT customers (if necessary) as well as external suppliers
  • Passionate, self-starter able to deliver. Capable of managing multiple procurement exercises at the same time
  • Focus on output
  • A role model for good commercial and procurement acumen


Contract to the end of March 2022 but likely to extend. Public sector.
