Job Description
Setup and management of supplier contracts utilizing the appropriate terms and conditions of contracts and appropriate schedules
Supplier Management including the establishment and monitoring of Key performance indicators to manage performance and continuous performance improvements
Supplier management including, the timely achievement of internal Key Performance indicators including the management of savings targets, contractual spend targets and individual customer specific targets
Play an active role in driving customer service including assisting the development of effective communication with CCG customers to ensure effective management of CCG spend including agreement of annual workplans, spend targets and performance improvements
Management of a range of corporate contracts including but not limited to IT, Telecoms, Travel, FM, Agency, Capital
Management of Contracts Database including details of all contracts, contractual documentation and linking into the annual rolling workplan
Internal management of the Oracle e-procurement system including supplier rationalisation and spend categorisation and managing the procurement relationship with NHS Shared Business Services
To keep abreast of new legislation, government policy, best practice and relevant external factors to procurement and contracting activity
Provide procurement advice to internal stakeholder and customers
The Successful Applicant
Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply, MCIPS accredited or actively working towards it. (Minimum Level 5 must have been achieved)
Experience of working with a range of stakeholders at all levels of different organisations
Experience of procurement processes including undertaking complex Tender process at EU level
Experience in negotiating with other parties within the public sector and private sector
