Job Details
Interim Category Manager – Services opportunity working with a Global Blue Chip. Up to £500 per day (inside IR35) - Remote working with occasional stakeholder visits.
A lovely interim role for an experienced Services Category Manager. In this role you will support the end-to-end category management processes within your portfolio area. This role supports the long-term agreements showing commercial creativity, innovation and expertise to internal stakeholders.
You will be a significant member of a team and will contribute to setting best practice within the portfolio for collaborative value management, buying channel strategy, market leadership; as an industry recognised expert/leader.
Working remotely with some visits to Leicestershire and Berkshire to meet stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Experience of performing end-to-end Portfolio Category Management
- Proven ability to think laterally, globally, and creatively to drive additional value for the business.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and evidence of building trust across with colleagues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good negotiation skills. A track record of significant cost reductions in goods and services related to indirect spend.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities (i.e. enthusiasm, decisiveness, strategic thinking, change agent).
- Track record of delivering long term value within a Procurement environment.
