Senior Procurement Manager - Technology - 12 mth FTC

Excellent opportunity within a leading and innovative Technology giant who is looking for experienced Technology Procurement professionals for a 12 month FTC… 

We are currently partnering with a major FTSE Technology client who has a requirement for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager Technology, for a 12-month FTC to cover parental leave. 

This opportunity will start in Jan 2022. 

You will have a strong background within Technology procurement, come from a large corporate background with an understanding of building effective relationships internally with the wider commercial business.  You will be pro-active in your approach, using your category knowledge to identify and implement sourcing solutions to build value across a £MM spend. This position also has a global element to it, so if you have any experience of global strategic sourcing, then this would be a plus!

 Senior Procurement Manager Experience:

• Proven Procurement experience in Technology related category areas and the wider competitive context within which the business operates

• Able to handle deals and negotiations of increased complexity, with support by more senior procurement leaders. Start to manage spend areas as opposed to individual deals

• Leads and manages larger/complex projects

• Manages larger amounts of spend through deals negotiated, support spend strategy development

• Works with stakeholders, and can do so within multiple business units

• Defines process for complex situations. Identifies and drives improvement

• Contributes to all components of category strategy & execution

• Defines and executes analysis, leveraging company strategy

• Adapts style to communicate & influence across multiple levels
